Premier Sports Asia to broadcast 2026 Rugby League World Cup

Singapore rugby league fans won’t miss a minute of the action this year, as Premier Sports Asia has officially secured the exclusive broadcast rights for the 2026 Rugby League World Cup (RLWC26) in Singapore.

The network, which already delivers live coverage of the NRL Telstra Premiership and Betfred Super League to fans across Singapore, will now bring complete coverage of the international game’s flagship event.

The tournament kicks off in Sydney on October 15, 2026, with an explosive opening match between heavyweights Australia and New Zealand. Set to be the most competitive tournament yet, RLWC26 features 26 teams from 14 nations competing across Men’s, Women’s, and Wheelchair competitions.

Through the Premier Sports Asia network, fans in Singapore will have access to up to 53 World Cup matches, including all 18 men’s fixtures live.
