The Central Vipers and Eastern Hornbills will make history this Saturday when they face off to launch the inaugural SGNRL Championship season at Tanglin Rugby Club’s Kampong Java Fields.
The clash marks the start of a six-round domestic campaign, featuring the Vipers, Hornbills, and Wanderers Tigers all vying for a spot in the Grand Final on September 19 and the right to lift Singapore’s first-ever domestic Rugby League trophy.
Following this weekend’s opener, the competition takes a two-week break before the Tigers enter the fray with back-to-back fixtures against the Hornbills and Vipers. The schedule then flips for three action-packed return rounds.
All matches will take place at TRC Kampong Java Fields with a 2:00 PM kick-off.
