Wanderers Tigers join 2026 SGNRL Championship

The Wanderers Rugby Club, a cornerstone of the Singapore sporting community since 1996, has been confirmed as the third team to take part in this year’s SGNRL Championship.

Operating under the Tigers moniker, the Wanderers club will join the Eastern Hornbills and Central Vipers in the six round competition that’s set to kick off this weekend at the TRC Kampong Java Field.

Founded nearly 30 years ago, the Wanderers have built a prestigious legacy in Rugby Union, fielding successful teams in both Men’s and Women’s divisions, as well as maintaining a strong presence in the Netball Singapore national competition and the local social Netball and Rugby scenes.

The inaugural SGNRL Championship season is set to kick off August 1st, with every team playing each other twice before the Grand Final on September 19.
