Outback Butchery locks in partnership for SGNRL Championship

The Singapore National Rugby League (SGNRL) has today announced a new partnership with Outback Butchery ahead of the upcoming domestic season.

The agreement sees Outback Butchery become an Official Bronze partner of the SGNRL Championship while simultaneously throwing its support behind the foundation clubs, the Central Vipers and the Eastern Hornbills for the inaugural season. 

As part of the club partnerships, the Outback Butchery logo will feature on the back of the playing shorts for both the Vipers and Hornbills throughout the campaign, whilst also becoming official partner of the Man of the Match award for each game, including the competition decider on 19 September.

The inaugural SGNRL Championship is scheduled to kick off on August 1st. The six-round competition will see every team face each other twice in a home-and-away format, establishing the foundations of local club rivalries.

All matches throughout the season will be hosted at the TRC Kampong Java Field, providing a central hub for the local rugby league community. The regular season will culminate in the Grand Final, locked in for September 19, where the competition’s first champion will be crowned.

The SGNRL are actively seeking athletes and officials to take part in the inaugural Men’s  Championship. Players of all experience levels who are interested in taking part are encouraged to register their interest immediately.
