Combined training session held at TRC Kampong Java fields

With just four weeks to go until the historic kickoff of the inaugural SGNRL Championship, players from all three competing clubs gathered at the TRC Kampong Java fields on Saturday, July 4, for a combined training session.

The high-energy session served as a crucial stepping stone for the league, bringing together players from all different experiences to the one venue.

The SGNRL coaching staff took center stage, putting the unified pool of players through a series of drills designed to sharpen skill sets, establish fitness baselines, and foster a spirit of healthy competition ahead of the season opener.

While club rivalries will undoubtedly take over in a month’s time, Saturday session was all about elevating the collective standard of the game. The camaraderie and intensity on display proved that every athlete is ready to leave their mark on this historic first season.

The road to silverware is now officially underway. The inaugural SGNRL Championship kicks off on August 1, featuring three foundation clubs battling it out over a six-round regular season before the tournament Grand Final on September 19.

Call for players and officials
The SGNRL are actively seeking athletes and officials to take part in the inaugural Men’s  Championship. Players of all experience levels who are interested in taking part are encouraged to register their interest immediately.
