AP Spiral partners with SGNRL for 2026 men’s international season

The Singapore National Rugby League (SGNRL) has today announced an official partnership with AP Spiral (APS) for the 2026 international season. The agreement will see the Singapore-based industrial manufacturing specialist become an official sponsor of the Singapore men’s national team international program, including June’s tour of Vanuatu. 

The partnership brings together the reigning Asian Champions, the Singapore Memerang, and an established local industry leader. For SGNRL, the backing of a rigorous, safety-certified local partner comes at a pivotal moment for the sport’s international development in the region.

The 2026 international campaign kicks off in Port Vila on Saturday, June 6 when the Singapore Memerang will create history at Korman Stadium, becoming the first international men’s rugby league side to play on Vanuatu soil in nearly a decade.

Riding an undefeated streak following their 2025 Asian Championship success, the Memerang view the sanctioned match against Vanuatu as a critical step toward securing an official International Rugby League (IRL) world ranking.

The tour will also feature the international debut of the Singapore Sunbirds, the Women’s National Team, who will play an inaugural development nine-a-side match against the Vanuatu women’s national team, as curtain raiser to the men’s international.
