The Sunbirds program will start with the squad’s upcoming tour of Vanuatu in June 2026. This tour to Port Vila serves as a critical milestone in the development of the squad and the SGNRL are looking for partners to help fund the squad’s travel to the Pacific nation. This journey is a vital investment in the technical skills and match fitness of Singapore’s leading female rugby league players, and we require the right backing to make it a reality.
Following the conclusion of the Vanuatu tour, the Sunbirds are scheduled to compete in their first-ever official international fixture later this year. This historic event is set to capture significant attention, marking a major milestone for both the Singaporean sporting scene and the global Rugby League community.
