Singapore Women’s Open Training Session this Sunday

The Singapore National Rugby League (SGNRL) invites all interested female athletes to an open Rugby League training session this coming Sunday. Scheduled from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at  The Foothills (70 River Valley Rd, Singapore), the session offers an opportunity for both newcomers and experienced players to develop their skills alongside some of the local members of the Singapore Sunbirds squad.

The morning will be overseen by SGNRL representatives John Yap, Harresh Krishnan, and Tom Chamberlain. Instruction will focus on the fundamental pillars of the game, including play-the-ball mechanics, defensive line structures, and ball-handling drills, all conducted within a professional and supportive environment. This session is open to any female player interested in the sport, regardless of their prior experience level.

Following the on-field activities, participants are invited to join SGNRL officials at Boomarang Bistro and Bar to build community ties and watch the NRL in Las Vegas Double Header. Attendees are encouraged to arrive 10–15 minutes early for registration and should wear standard athletic attire with appropriate footwear for grass.
